Hitesh Chauhan is Director of Product Development and Innovation at Juice Plus. He began his scientific career at the University of Leeds where his industry funded PhD research investigated the Molecular mechanisms of glucose uptake, insulin sensitivity and implications in diabetes. His initial research career focused on Healthy Aging. He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and mentored PhD studentships. Hitesh is an accomplished leader with more than 20 years of experience in R&D, possessing extensive expertise across product innovation and development, R&D operations, consumers science, formulation development and manufacturing. He has held various leadership roles at Unilever, Sainsbury's, GSK, and Carlsberg, spanning multiple R&D functions. During his early career he was the recipient of Wellcome Trust Prize Scholarship, Donald & Marjorie Robinson Leeds University Biochemistry Prize and a National Institutes of Health Scholarship.
